The International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) seeks to improve the transparency of aid, development and humanitarian resources in order to increase their effectiveness in tackling poverty. IATI is a standardised format for the publication of aid information. This standardisation enables comparable and sharable datasets, so that a range of stakeholders can see how much aid is being provided and what it is being spent on.
